Cannabis Yield Calculator
Estimated Yield: -- grams
How to Use
1. Enter the Number of Plants
- Field: “Number of Plants”
- Description: Input the total number of cannabis plants you plan to grow in your setup. More plants typically yield higher results, but they should be spaced optimally for best growth.
2. Specify the Growing Space in Square Meters
- Field: “Growing Space (sq meters)”
- Description: Enter the size of your growing area in square meters. This space will help determine optimal light and yield based on plant density.
3. Provide the Light Power in Watts
- Field: “Light Power (Watts)”
- Description: Input the total wattage of the lights in your setup. For indoor grows, lighting is crucial, and ideal setups have approximately 538 watts per square meter. Lower light intensity will reduce yield, while optimal lighting boosts it up to 20%.
4. Select the Growing Method
- Field: “Growing Method”
- Options: Soil, Hydroponics, Aeroponics
- Description: Choose the growing method you are using. Hydroponics and aeroponics generally provide higher yields due to better nutrient delivery. Select “Soil” for traditional setups.
5. Choose the Strain Type
- Field: “Strain Type”
- Options: Indica, Sativa, Hybrid
- Description: Select the cannabis strain you’re growing. Indica strains often yield slightly more in indoor setups, while Sativa yields can be lower in comparison.
6. Click “Calculate Estimated Yield”
- Action: Press the green “Calculate Estimated Yield” button.
- Description: The calculator will instantly display an estimated yield in grams based on your input. This estimate considers the light, space, growing method, and strain type.
Example Calculation
If you’re growing 5 plants in a 3 sq meter space with 1200 watts of lighting, using Hydroponics and a Hybrid strain:
- Expected Result: The calculator provides an estimated yield in grams based on these optimized conditions.
